Summer is here, and the annual Gladstone Family Fun Run is upon us! The fun run will be held on Friday, July 21 at 7:00 AM, starting near the InfoCenter on the Gladstone Park Conference Center campus.

Just as we started last year, this is an event for the entire community, and we are also treating it as a fundraiser for a community cause. The proceeds that come in for the fundraiser will all be used to benefit the Follow the Star walkthrough nativity event this December. The Follow the Star program engages with thousands of community members, and the fun run will help towards making it an even better program!

Registration is free and must be completed before 12:00noon on Thursday, July 20.

Signed waivers are required for all participants. Minors must have a waiver signed by a parent.

A limited number of t-shirts will be available for a $10 purchase. Enjoy the beauty of nature throughout the grounds and get acquainted with new friends! Start Friday off with a run (or walk)!

You have the opportunity to win some prizes as a participant in the Fun Run! For those who raise the most funds through the sponsorship tracking sheet, we have 3 prizes from Bullwinkle’s Family Fun Center available:

1st place: Two 3hr unlimited passes!

2nd place: One 3hr unlimited pass!

3rd place: 2x $20 token gift cards and 1 free pizza!

As a participant, you can invite friends and family to sponsor you in completing the 5k. It is up to you and them to decide on an amount to sponsor. Once you complete the 5k, please follow up with your sponsor and have them donate by the end of July at the donation/sponsorship link at www.oregonadventist.org/funrun.
