Prayer
Ministries

Our goal is to spark revival by encouraging each church member to find a closer walk with God through prayer. The Holy Spirit alone can enable us to live the life that Christ longs for us to live. To do this…

  • We visit churches and teach the importance of revival and living in Christ through prayer.
  • We work with local church prayer coordinators to mobilize the church to pray for the Holy Spirit
  • We hold yearly Conference-wide prayer conferences.

Make every effort to keep open the communion between Jesus and your own soul.

Unceasing prayer is the unbroken union of the soul with God, so that life from God flows into our life; and from our life, purity and holiness flow back to God. There is necessity for diligence in prayer; let nothing hinder you. Make every effort to keep open the communion between Jesus and your own soul. Seek every opportunity to go where prayer is wont to be made. Those who are really seeking for communion with God will be seen in the prayer meeting, faithful to do their duty and earnest and anxious to reap all the benefits they can gain. They will improve every opportunity of placing themselves where they can receive the rays of light from heaven. We should pray in the family circle, and above all we must not neglect secret prayer, for this is the life of the soul. It is impossible for the soul to flourish while prayer is neglected.

Unexpected and exciting news...
Unfortunately, this year's guest speaker, Pavel Goia, has learned his mother is doing very poorly and is not expected to live much longer. With that news, we of course, him we understand and assured him we would be praying for him, his mother and their family as they say their goodbyes. He will soon be in the air on his way to Romania.

We know how much you value the blessings of our annual Prayer Conference and to date God has never let us down. In this instance, he answered before we even knew to ask. While we won’t have Pavel, we have someone God handpicked for such a time as this. Dan Serns, a highly sought after speaker, has stepped into our gap and will be our featured speaker instead this year.

We can hardly wait to tell you the rest of the story to this incredible answer to prayer when you get to Twin Rocks! However, if you feel you are not able to attend and want a refund, please let us immediately, no later than Sunday, March 15 at 5:00 PM. This is extremely time sensitive so please contact me if you have questions or email me at Tawny.Sportsman@oregonadventist.org.
