I would like to thank you for your continued giving to the Oregon Conference throughout this year. Your tithes and offerings are making a difference! If you would like to send a gift to the Oregon Conference in 2024, you may do so by either sending us a check by mail or donating online via our website and Adventist Giving. Please make sure your donations by mail are postmarked on or before December 31st and you online gifts are entered and confirmed in Adventist Giving by December 31. This will ensure these gifts will be included on your 2024 tax-deductible donation receipt.
We have received multiple questions and comments regarding the offering being taken in support of Gladstone Camp Meeting 2025. We appreciate your support and anticipate holding the event next year! If, for some reason, we are not able to hold the event, we would like to give options on how to handle your gift. You may either (1) have your donation transferred to support another ministry within the Oregon Conference, (2) have your donation held in our camp meeting operations function which will be used to support the costs of a future camp meeting event or (3) have your donation refunded back to you. Please note that if you do not have any instruction included with your original donation or do not reach out to us after an announcement concerning a cancellation of the event, your gift will be held to fund camp meeting operations in a future year. Also, please note that if you gave your gift through your local church you will need to work directly with your church treasurer to handle any refunds or changes and not directly with our treasury department. Lastly, if your donation is given in 2024 and you request a refund in 2025, there will be an impact on your 2024 tax return. We recommend consulting with your personal tax accountant on how to properly handle the changes.
