Creators Lab Confirmed for February 2025 in the Seattle Area

Creators Lab will return in February 2025! Centered around today’s digital pioneers, Creators Lab brought together podcasters, YouTubers, social media content creators, writers and other digital creatives of faith from the Pacific Northwest and beyond in its first event at the Oregon Conference Holden Convention Center earlier this year.

Featuring a variety of digital creative leaders including Pastor Kevin Wilson, Pastor Seth Pierce, documentary filmmaker Evelin Velinova, Oregon Conference digital media specialist Kaleb Eisele, Washington Conference media director Ernesto Hernandez, and writer/podcast host Nicole Dominguez, Creators Lab received overwhelmingly positive feedback. Kristen Ward, who serves as a media volunteer for the Church of the Advent Hope in New York City, shared that, "This event was so much more than I imagined! Not only were there engaging, incredibly knowledgeable speakers, but I also got to meet such a diverse group of creatives in the Adventist community — from beginners to seasoned pros, representing so many different fields. Everyone shared the same passion for creating things and believed that their talents were contributing to something greater. I never expected something of this scale and absolutely loved learning and connecting with like-minded people!”

Creators Lab is a collaborative effort between the Oregon Conference and Washington Conference communication and media teams, with additional support provided by the North Pacific Union. This year, the event will be hosted in Washington at the South Tacoma Adventist Fellowship church, and will feature new and familiar faces including Pastor Rome Ulia, Pastor Alex Portillo, NPR College Podcast Challenge finalist Lindsey Gispert, Kaleb Eisele, Ernesto Hernandez, Pastor Kevin Wilson, and more! Sunday’s hands-on learning labs will cover a variety of topics including how to conduct interviews for digital media, camera, lighting, and sound for content creation, and emerging artificial intelligence tools among others.

The theme for Creators Lab 2025 is “Called to Create,” and will focus on God’s call to use digital and creative means to introduce our communities to Jesus. Beginning on Friday night and continuing through Sunday morning, Creators Lab is a unique blend of intentional community-building, inspiring presentations, and hands-on learning labs for creators of all levels of experience.

Creators Lab will happen February 21-23, at the South Tacoma Adventist Fellowship located at 230 S 94th St. in Tacoma, Washington. Registration will include access to the full event and all meals from Friday dinner through Sunday lunch for $99. Watch for registration links launching soon!
