On Sabbath afternoon, November 19, two church communities gathered at the Sunnyside Adventist Church in Portland to acknowledge the calls to ministry of Violeta and Ben Bilan.

It was a smoky Thursday afternoon as members made their way through the Columbia Gorge toward Skamania Lodge for the Oregon Conference Executive Committee Retreat. On the agenda: worship, fellowship, and the business of the church in Oregon Conference as the group came together for the first time since its election.

On Sunday, August 28, 2022 the Oregon Conference Nominating Committee met to recommend officers to the upcoming constituency meeting on September 18, 2022.

Dick Duerksen retired from his position on the Oregon Conference communication team at the end of July. While his career has come to an end, his impact and legacy live on.

In January, Pastor Andre Scalfani joined the Oregon Conference office as a trust officer in our Planned Giving and Trust Services department. Now, he's adding prayer ministries coordinator to his responsibilities.
