On August 14, the Oregon Conference Organizing Committee met at the Holden Convention Center in Gladstone to select the Conference Nominating Committee. Chaired by the North Pacific Union Conference (NPUC) president, the organizing committee consists of representatives from every church in Conference, ensuring that the process is fair and open. By Sunday afternoon, the organizing committee approved the individuals listed below to serve as the Conference Nominating Committee in the upcoming quinquennium. They meet on August 28 to prepare recommendations for officers and executive committee members, to be presented at the Oregon Conference Constituency Session meeting on September 18, 2022 at Portland Adventist Academy. Please keep the entire nominating process in prayer as we approach the constituency session.
