VP for Education, Brandon O'Neal, recently announced his upcoming departure from the Northwest in a letter to Oregon Conference members.
Dear Oregon Conference Family,
With so many emotions, I am writing to inform you that I will resign as your VP of education, effective June 30, 2023. After many conversations and prayers, my family has decided to move to Arizona.
In 2017, it was clear that God was calling us to the Oregon Conference, and our time here has been extraordinary. The friendships we have made will be lifelong and have had such a positive impact on our lives. The students and families we have served have treated us with such kindness. Our colleagues here at the Conference office and out in the field have taught us so much and given us so much love and support.
Among the last six years, I was privileged and honored to serve five incredible years as principal of Portland Adventist Elementary. I am now being called to once again serve as a principal on a school campus. We also have a strong desire to be closer to the family. It’s time for us to return to both.
Thank you all for the opportunities you have given us and the work you do daily for our children, schools, and church families. We will miss you. Please join us in praying for the Oregon Conference Education Department and our schools as they continue to serve our school families throughout the conference.
Blessings and Much Gratitude,
Brandon O’Neal
Your VP for Education
