Would you like to go to Kenya? There’s a page for that.
How about Italy? There’s also a page for Italy, with a Venetian gondola!
And pages for the USA, Iceland, a score of other countries, and the necessary continents.
You’ll find all of this in the newly-published book, ABC– Trip Around the World, authored by the students of Three SistersAdventist Christian School. Written and illustrated by the students in classes taught by Mrs. Armstead, Mrs. Neil, and Mrs. Crew, the four-color hard-cover book is a masterpiece of student learning.
“Off, off and away I go to see Lebanon in a purple boat,”writes Isabella. “I am going to see Lebanon cedars because it is the oldest forest. I will eat Baba Ghannush because I like hummus and flat bread. I will look for honey badgers because they are black with a white stripe.”
Each student studied a specific country or continent and then wrote about taking a dream vacation to that place. Some rode in purple boats, others in flying motorcycles!
“Off, off and away I go to Denmark on a flying motorcycle,”wrote Riggins. “I am going to see Tivoli Gardens because it’s cool when it lights up. I will look for a Red Deer because it’s my brother’s name backwards. (Reed)”
If you’re a fan of wild animals and would like to go on safari, Tanner’s your guide.
