It’s been 13 years since the Oregon Conference headquarters building opened on the Gladstone campus and nearly that long since the art throughout the building was hung. It’s time for an update, and you are all invited to participate!

This summer we will be updating the art throughout the Oregon Conference office building and have chosen to use these public spaces to highlight the artistic skills of our members – and the beauty of our Conference territory. The plan is to use 21 of your best photographs to tell the story of this beautiful corner of the country in which we live, with one very special wall in the upstairs boardroom dedicated to the people who make up our Oregon Conference Family.

There are seven categories including: Beaches, Lakes, and Skies; Flowers & Foliage; Mountains; People; Prairies & Fields; Flowing Water; and Wildlife. Photos submitted must have been taken in the Oregon Conference territory by an Oregon Conference member.

The contest will open at 12:00 PM PST on Monday, May 9, 2022 and entries can be submitted until 11:59 PM PST on May 31, 2022. After submissions close voting will begin. You will be able to vote for your favorites each day, share them with friends and family via social media, so they can vote too, and help us narrow down the list to six finalists in each category. Voting will happen from June 5, 2022 to June 20, 2022 at 11:59 PM PST.

The top six finalists in each category will be announced on Friday, June 24 and each of them will receive a $50 prize.

From there the Oregon Conference Design Team will decide which finalist photos will work best in each space in need and will choose three photos from each category as contest winners. Winning photos from each category will be printed, signed by the artist, and hung throughout the Conference Office building. Winning photographers will receive a 24” print of their winning entry.

Large prints of the winning photos will be revealed, and prizes distributed at a special event during Gladstone Camp Meeting this summer, which happens July 19-24, 2022.

We can’t wait to see your beautiful photos from every corner of our Conference, and we hope each one of you will submit your favorite shots, sharing God’s love, His second book–nature, and the members that make up this beautiful territory with us all.
